HadCoffee is a web application that lets you find, track and rate specialty coffee.
Personal Information
To provide these features we need to collect information from you including your email address (for login) and your location (if shared). This site uses Cookies and browser storage to enable our features and for analytics purposes.
This information is not disclosed to third parties. We may at times use third party tools such as transactional email providers to help HadCoffee process it.
Your geographic location is used to suggest cafes near you and for the cafe search feature. We may use low-precision approximate user locations to help with marketing or development decisions.

Coffee / Cafe Information
Additionally the act of rating coffees will require you to provide other information including the cafe and day you visited, the type of coffee you had and how you rated it, and optionally any notes you wish to include.
Ratings are combined to form cafe's overall ratings, but are not individually published. If you choose to provide public tastic notes on the coffee you had then these will be displayed publicy, along with your display user name.
If your display name or public bio contains personal information then users may be able to connect that to your location. HadCoffee will not publish your email address, nor any personal information not specifically marked as being part of your public profile.
Analytics & Hosting
This site uses Fathom Analytics and Google Analytics to track overall usage. The data collected there is not associated with individual users.
We use the AWS Cloudfront CDN to serve some static assets to users more quickly.
HadCoffee is hosted in Australia.
Closing Your Account
If you wish to close your account you can contact HadCoffee here to request deletion. Your past ratings and cafes you may have entered will be retained, but your user account, individual coffee notes and history of cafe visits will be deleted.
Updates to this Privacy Policy
HadCoffee may update this privacy policy in the future.
